And you're right, of course Elan. But, as you well know, even those real companies' stock prices CRASHED in the 00-02 meltdown. ORCL went from $40.13 9/1/00 to $6.86 by 6/1/02: an 83% loss in 21 months - the biggest database company in the world THEN! Who among us had the stones to hold on to that, with the faith that it would "come back someday"?? FC |
