TMF marketing has always offered lofty goals for investors who subscribe to its services that some might (and have) describe as hype. The investment goal of the Discovery: 10X premium service is to look for companies that have the potential to grow 10x in the next decade.

In the case of the 680X report, this was a promotion for the Market Pass service, an umbrella service that includes access to Stock Advisor, Rule Breakers, Everlasting Stocks and Rule Your Retirement. And as a bonus for VIP subscribers, the Extreme Opportunities: Artificial Intelligence service. The 10 companies mentioned in the 680X report are not necessarily active recommendations by any premium services, though they could be. But they are companies that have the potential to be in the ground floor of what the report believes could be an inflection point in driverless technology.

Who does think TMF is being advantaged by a rising Main Street interest in investing, but he does not think TMF is intentionally appealing to unrealistic expectations...
