Each Traditional IRA custodian you have, if more than one, is required to notify you in the year you have an RMD. If you request it the custodian must calculate your RMD for the TIRA they are the custodian for (many/most will do this for you anyway) It is then up to you to decide which TIRA(s) you will withdraw the total of all RMDs from. Each TIRA custodian will report on a form 5498 to you and the IRS the amount of withdrawals, if any, from your TIRAs they are the custodian for. Adding these 5498s together should be at least the total amount of TIRAs RMDs.
