Subject:  Insurance costs: more digital media garbage? Date:  7/17/2021  11:58 PM

Article on Yahoo. (strike 1).
"Motortrend" reference. (strike 2).
Says it'll cost "on average" between $2100 and $2300 a year for a single male 40 year old to insure a Model 3. So - quoting the highest risk category aside from a 16 year old male with no multi-policy/car discounts... and no comparative quotes. (strike 3).

My Model 3 costs $710/year to insure with a major insurer, multi-policy discount, married, perfect record - over 50 and we'll leave it at that ;-)

30% of that planted Motortrend PR quote.

Buying and owning a Tesla Model 3 costs less than:
Nissan Maxima
BMW 3 series
Mercedes C class
KIA Stinger(!)
Lexus is/es 300
Toyota Avalon Hybrid...

no position in Tesla stock
M3 owner
