Even if the IRS and TT had everything settled, 1099's aren't issued until end of January, so I don't do my taxes until February anyway. I forget if this has been changed to the middle of February, but some companies do not send them until much later than then. Screw them. I usually finish my returns in early March, but if I do not get a 1099 until after I file, I put in in the folder with the other documentation, but to not file an amended return. The IRS has never complained. |
