but you need to model it to see if it applies. Yes Indeed! This is why true financial planning is difficult. Lots of moving parts that must be taken into account and no two households are the same. Software as a planning tool has made this easier to do, but it is still only a tool. A good planner still has to flow out household cash flow needs over future years, making certain assumptions.
