Someone said that Meatloaf was an actor who acted like he could sing. I saw him on SNL once. During a break in the lyrics he put on an oxygen mask and breathed in great gulps from the attached tank, the inference being that he was such a darned intense performer that he needed the oxygen just to get through the song. Gimme a break. I remember thinking "This Meatloaf is a ham." |
