Costa Rica has administered at least 10,313,681 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 102.2% of the country’s population.

Dominican Republic has administered at least 15,548,149 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 72.4% of the country’s population.


Both have a very high vaccination rate. The warning for Costa Rica is from January. Their current COVID rate is 5% of the peak in February. Dominican Republics current infection rate is 1% of their peak.

Checking is good but also verify current infection rates. Current infections rates could go either up or down.
