The Fool: To what extent has your financial success, or lack thereof, been the result of luck versus skill?
foolmanz: Mostly luck. I've been a member of the Fool site since 2005. I have not alway stuck with the research memberships. Had I just stuck with Stock Advisor and not in and out as I've done. I would be a lot better off. Unfortunately life has distractions.
The Fool: What do you fear most?
foolmanz: Selling an investment to pay for "something" (i.e. home remodel) and then see that stock double/triple in value. Then my "something" just got two to three times more expensive.
The Fool: If you could change one thing about your workplace, corporate culture, or family life, what would it be?
foolmanz: I miss walls.... Open office workspace is distracting.
The Fool: What's been your best investment to date, and how did you discover it?
foolmanz: Apple. I bought my first Apple computer in 2005 and liked it better then the windows computers I've always used. Then the iPhone came out. A year later I decided to invest.
The Fool: Do you have a favorite company or stock which the worldwide Foolish community should know about -- and why?
foolmanz: TME - It will be interesting to see how the China music streaming company compares to US companies.
The Fool: List some of your favorite websites, with commentary where appropriate. (Please provide the URLs, too.)
foolmanz: WSJ.com
Yahoo Finance
