The Fool: What was the most significant discovery of the last century?
ckayakman: DNA
The Fool: What lesson do you wish you’d learned ten years ago?
ckayakman: How my emotions affect my investing.
The Fool: What was your first educational exposure to investing?
ckayakman: I bought a notebook on futures trading. Fortunately, I decided against starting my investing career with futures.
The Fool: Tell us about Your Dumbest Investment... and the lesson you learned from it.
ckayakman: I invested in a company that made plug-in Unix computing modules for a desktop computer. I liked the idea of mixing Unix and Windows, so I thought it would be successful. Of course the company had no market, no revenue, no sales force, etc. I learned that technology alone does not guarantee financial success.
The Fool: Speak to the dead. You must have something to say. They may be listening.
ckayakman: Thanks for passing on the vast knowledge and discoveries that allow us to build an extraordinary future.
The Fool: What's been your best investment to date, and how did you discover it?
ckayakman: Trex - suggestion from Motley Fool
The Fool: Do you have a favorite company or stock which the worldwide Foolish community should know about -- and why?
ckayakman: Facebook, my largest single position, is an extraordinary company with amazing leadership. I believe that they will use their social platform to fund the new age of virtual reality.
The Fool: List some of your favorite websites, with commentary where appropriate. (Please provide the URLs, too.)
ckayakman: Seeking Alpha - www.seekingalpha.com
