I know this is getting off-topic, but in interest of helping others trade individual stocks instead of mutual funds, I had the same issue for years with my Fidelity 401k thru my company.
Then about 3 years ago they announced we had access to “Brokeragelink” which is basically the ability to trade individual stocks. Had to keep a minimum amount in a Fid fund, but was able to put everything else, including vast majority of future contributions, in the Brokeragelink port vs flowing into mutual funds.
