After a significant hiatus, I've fallen for a Fool again. It's my intention to post here weekly and drive my long neglected CAPS score back to 99+. It's around 90 even after years of inattention, so things held up relatively well.

Why have I come back? Well, years ago I predicted the "tech wreck" and the "financial crisis." Today, I see #Crash2020 coming. While there are some bargains out there right now, particularly in misunderstood innovation companies, mostly in the SMID cap range, it is hard to find value in the stock market today.

The repo market is a harbinger of things to come. Somewhere there is a bank short on cash. What the Fed is doing is a "pre-bailout." You should be scared of that alone.

But wait, there's more. The markets are at the 3rd highest valuation levels ever, profits are turning over (remember the E in P/E) and the economy is slowing down globally, including here in the United States - see manufacturing numbers falling off a cliff and employment is flattening with a negative bias (wish I could show you charts - I have some at Seeking Alpha).

My analysis is to expect a bit of a rally into December and January, then for the proverbial poo-poo to hit the fan a little at a time until it gets really sticky. I expect no less than a 20% correction in 2020 and likely closer to 40%. A SPY in the lower 200s seems extremely likely.
