A lot of times what people assume is mold/mildew is really just algae...I'm not saying it can't be mold or mildew, just in my experience algae is the first and most noticeable thing growing in wet environment in the car and most people just assume it is mold or mildew.

Generally the fastest and most complete way to dry out the car is to remove the seats, some trim and just take the carpet out to dry in the air or sun. The carpet and pad can be quite thick and hold a lot of water even after removing all the standing water with a vac.
