it would turn of anywhere from 2 to 6 times in a minute before coming on steady. then it would work ok for awhile and start all over at random times.

we found the problem as being the fluid pressure switch inside the air handler itself. sometimes it would stick open sometimes closed. according to the ac man he has never heard of this kind of thing happening. at the rate this was happening he said the unit would be 1/2 the life used up too soon and of course the cost of pulling 57 amps every time it did a start up. outch!
