According to TurboTax (and I have no idea where they get the info); average itemized deductions for someone making 100k are:

Medical $13,623
Taxes $9,921
Interest $11,458
Contributions $3,500

Total Average $24,221

However, if you are under average does not mean you get to make some deductions up. Similarly, if you are over average & can substantiate the deductions, no sweat.
