After retirement investing: I would like to be specific about this subject in learning to invest but have not found a source. Any suggestions for an old lady?

Hi, what a coincidence, I asked a very similar question on this very board, just the other day. (See #15327) Basically, "Fool Seeks Info."
Hope you will take a look, I got some great answers, especially from intercst & BluesH, both of whom referred me to a great website maintained by the former. I found a lot of value there, I'm sure it will be of use to you as well. I also appreciated the perspectives provided by the other posters, especially brogers774 and lakerc. (I really have to go back to my posting and post a "thank you" to them all.)
I really like the responses you've received so far, especially the first one. I'm taking it to heart!
Good luck with your retirement.
