Again, I can't imagine that this very specific geographical arrangement constitutes more than a tiny fraction of trucking loads. Sure, it might happen - but pretty rarely. Certainly not enough to be worth contorting your distribution logistics to make it happen.

I suspect that when such an arrangement makes sense, it's already happening. It's called a railroad.
