Agreed, YHF is a wonderful album that only gets better with multiple listenings.

Uncle Tupelo pretty much singlehandedly presented "Alt Country" to the masses. Their first 3 (out of 4) albums are out of print, and are all very worthwhile if you can find them for a good deal (I've seen the first album No Depression CD sell for $25 on eBay) They have an anthology out now that is also highly recommended.

When Uncle Tupelo broke up, the two creative forces continued on; Jeff Tweedy with Wilco and Jay Farrar with Son Volt. Great music all around.
