Ah, Americans! In Europe gasoline costs the equivalent of $8 per gallon, in Switzerland gasoline costs around $6.5 per gallon. And we are not doing so badly... But Americans need to drive SUVs. What about driving (smaller) European cars that save gasoline?

The reason for the high prices in Europe is because 70% of it is taxes. In the US it is 15% or so I think.

So yeah, Americans should finally start to save gasoline. And if they would do this all together, it would reduce demand and lower the price...

In Switzerland for example you are expected to shut down the engine at a red light. Even if it's for just 30 seconds...
