I nominate AJ485 for the Feste Award.

AJ was a wealth of knowledge which she is generous enough to share with the TMF community. I know that if I see an AJ post I will be reading a message that gives good solid advice and can be relied upon to be accurate.

AJ's particular talents are most shown on the Credit Card and Consumer Debt board where she is a mainstay. Quite often I have wished I could delete a post of mine because AJ's post on the same subject was much better and complete than mine.

AJ has an incredible knack of dissecting one's finances and then giving some tough love, always with the goal of helping. She manages to be tough and yet not unkind, something that is difficult to pull off. I give some examples below including one, alas, directed at me. The fact that I still want to nominate AJ after what she describes as a harsh post really shows how highly I think of her and what an asset she is to the community:

In addition, sometimes she comes up with the best ideas…

She is also willing to take a position that differs from that of most others:

And, to see the more personal side of AJ...

Where AJ explains why TMF is better than the personals!

And she doesn't confine herself to only the CCCD board:

A couple of posts from the buying or Selling a Home board

And from the Foolish 401(k)s board

A nomination for AJ485 rewards not only her great efforts but would recognize the truly life altering nature of some of the help given on the CCCD board. In reviewing her posts to write this nomination, I was so often struck by how she was the person who, time and time, gave the soundest advice to those seeking help in turning around their finances. I listed a few examples of this above, but could have listed many, many more. If the recipients of her advice followed the advice, there is no doubt that their financial well being would be greatly enhanced.
