Does anyone on here know anything about Alan Randall Associates, Inc.?

They claim to be able to help attorneys find new careers and claim great success rates but they charge for their services (rather than charging employers).

Please let me know if you know anything about this group.

I don't know this firm, so "no comment".

In general, if a firm wants money to find you a job, and they want the bucks up front, ask them for a written guarantee that says you will get all your money back if they don't find you a job that you are satisfied with within an agreed-upon time period. I don't know a firm that has ever made that guarantee in writing.

In my opinion, you're better off doing this yourself, and pursuing some highly-recommended headhunters (who charge employers): http://www.asktheheadhunter.com/hafindheadhunter.htm

Nick,

If no firm will make that commitment, then, in insisting on it, won't I be telling them I don't want their services?

Why would I be so much better off working with good headhunters? I'm not even certain I know what my options are. This firm says they want to give me guidance in my career. Headhunters don't do that.

My field is sort of drying up. I need to move on (no choice) with my career and do something different. I'm quite unsure what that is.

I just want to know if this firm is a fraud or if anyone has any experience with them at all - good or bad.

Thanks for your help.
