Alcohol is only making it worse. Get out and walk or exercise instead of drinking.

I agree that you are in need of some counseling. Even though my husband thought he was ready to retire being laid off was more than he was prepared to handle. Add in medical problems, and it isn't surprising that you are having problems. For my husband, counseling and anti-depressants have made a world of difference.
