All this crap about "staying the course" and "they can't break our will" is a load, and anyone with three functioning neurons should have figured that out after the same slogans were used in the same way with the same results in 'Nam. If you want to fight a war people, you have to have tactical and strategic plans. "Stay the course" is a slogan, not a plan. Taking Bagdad, then scratching your head, asking "What do I do now?", and being told to stuff your jock and wear a flight suit is not a war plan. All Bush did was give orders to fire, not to fight a rationally coherent war, and continuing to order fire is not going to make this clusterfrig a coherent strategy. He should have gotten Saddam with enough force to suppress what has happened, and gotten the hell out, but the "plan" was to get Saddam and see what followed. What followed was the civil unrest and then insurrection that anyone who's ever read a history book should have anticipated, and there was NO PLAN.
