Already planning a little for 2022 taxes. Is the $300 above the line charitable deduction still in effect for tax year 2022?

No, and it isn't available for 2021 tax returns either. The rule changed for 2021 to $300/$600 below the line deduction. The deduction is not available for 2022 at all unless Congress adopts new tax legislation.
