Also, drilling in the anwar would be bad because it is a caribu sanctuary. The fuems from oil extraction will cause death. If you want to relocate the caribu first, but that might not make the oil there cost effective to harvest.


Big-scale relocating is hardly feasible, and since caribu are not an endangered species, "harvesting" the population before the oil would probably be preferred.
