Also without wanting to be too pointed to the original poster (not intended as a personal attack), this reeks of sheepishness. The media spend far too much time on the negative aspects of the world around us, but we should all do our best to not let that even indirectly impact our investment decisions unless there are tangible facts.

Just because FriendFace says eggs are bad for me this week doesn't mean I'm selling all my CALM holdings -- I'd like to retire some day (the sooner the better), and the fact that people eat eggs for breakfast en masse is ok by me.

Now, if OP had said "ATVI is creating a generation of kids who don't even want to go outside and play, and therefore I'm divesting..." I might have gone along.
