Are you prepared to start buying in decashares? It's the wave of the future, right? The Chairman of the American Stock Exchange will be reading this board all day today, so don't be bashful about your feedback.

This is not doubt a new wave in investing--and bigger things are coming down the road.

The rumors of the AMEX "merging" with and/or starting a new European board may actually be in the works, since Europe is already on the metric system.

The major stumbling block will no doubt coming to a mutually agreeable transfer rate from Euros to Dollars.

Rumors persist that the new board EAMEX (EuropeanAmerican Exchange) will be geared more for long-term investing. Stocks will only be traded generally only monthly, much like DRiP, thus eliminating the need to daily changes in exchange rates.

This can be nothing but good news!

Happy Fool day,
Mike

Great idea for publicity, bad idea for betting on the future. Individuals who invest like to see the numbers, the decimals, and the rest of the 9/10ths of a second delay in ordering what they want. People are no more likely to order a decashare than a penta-pack of Coke.

Wow, traders trading in kilo's? What a surpise. This should perk up the attention of those FBI wiretaps...

But seriouly, as a kilo is bigger than a pound, will I be getting the same size of shares or will my shares actually be bigger?

So Devon Energy Corp (Ticker: DVN) has an average daily volume of 1.4 megashares and an overall market cap of 13.7 giga$ ? Cool.
