I quite agree that stops are awful and that all amrker makers are aware of were you and I place our stops. No more hard stops for me. It is much more satisfying to snatch a buy or sell with a limit order, even if the stock then moves past the limit level, than to have to suffer the snatch because of a stop. But for those disciplined persons who can handle mental stops and who want to milk MrMarkets Marvelous Stock Picks a bit more, this might be an idea:

These momentum stocks are volatile puppies, so give them room to breathe. And of course Markmann has to spoil the system by talk about 'ignoring the signal'. Yes, with perfect hindsight I can get huge returns too. Loser! But the idea is worth some testing. Bring out the paper ports!
