Those in the media who are trying to defend Obama have all kinds of arm-chair quarterbacking to offer; he should have brought up 47%, he should have tied Romney to Bain, what about the off-shore accounts, Romney's arithmetic doesn't work, etc.

However, you just can hide the past 4 years no matter what you say.

Also, if they want to have Romney give specifics, then Romney can (a) say, what kind of specific was Hope and Change in 2008, and (b) what are your specific plans for the next 4 years that differ from the last 4. How do you propose to get the deficit back to let's say $10T and not $22T like the trajectory is now.

Mr Obama you are no Clinton,

Mr Obama you are no Lincoln.

Mr Obama you are no Lincoln.

Can we be brutally honest?

Mr. Obama you are no Carter!

This man is weaker than Carter on every front. He does not put in the work. That has been the hallmark of his Presidency even is you are not revolted by the results.

He wants to be President, but does not want the job part.

He is not up to Carter's standards, let alone viable Presidents.

There'll be only one more opportunity to discuss domestic (budget) issues.

The second debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization.

The format for the third debate will be identical to the first debate and will focus on foreign policy.
