Just received our (Wife and I) package from the company where we have our Prescription Drug Plan. Medicare folks will appreciate (not really) this.

This is just for the prescription drug plan (not Medicare or Supplemental)

Monthly Premium increase of 16% , or $4 for each of us per month.

Annual Deductable increased by 30%, from $250 to $325 for each of us.

Some increases/some decreases on Tiers 1 through 3

Tier 4 drugs - dropped - so far this hits one of ours (e.g. no coverage) - est. $800 yearly.

So it's back to the drawing board again to find a plan that covers everything. We had moved to this plan because our last plan dropped 2 of our drugs. This is prescription drug roulette.

We experienced a 15% premium rise, but the deductible stayed the same (2500/person).

Our annual employee benefit meeting is yet to come. Since they implemented an HDHP/HSA in 2009, our costs actually have gone down the past couple of years. I could not be more pleased.

This year my family is paying $226 for medical and $54 per month for dental. I don't recall how much my company pays but they also contribute $1000 to my HSA every year and I contribute another $5,250.

I'm hoping it hits 50k by the time I RE. It's currently invested in an S&P500 index fund.
