I guess I'll start.

Total change in retirement fund was only plus 8%. I think real inflation was at least 6%. So I'm going to call 2007 a year of breaking even. I don't really mind all that much when I think about it, since the worse stocks perform in the short term the better I'll probably be in the long term, but big numbers are always fun to see.

2008 may even be more difficult, or filled with more opportunity depending on your point of view.
