FINALLY--I can take out the money in my annuity!!!!Called to start the process and they wanted me to set up another one!!!!!!Since the performance was dismal on this investment -- I placed one third in moneymarket and will remove the rest in stages.I am thinking---
since the rest of the portfolio is as follows outside annuity:
7 % tax -free bond funds
25%Treasury money market
25% money market
10% dividend/growth stocks (in Roth IRA)

I thought that the 30%the annuity should go -half in CD.s and Half in solid dividend stocks and thought that first buys might be:
Con Ed- Consolidated Edison
Msex ---Middlesex Water
WM - Waste Management
T -- AT an T
Looking for a return of 5% without having to constantly monitor ths part of the portfolio
Yes - very conservative - but invetsment straties/goals? are to keep principal intact as much as possible --- as i lookback over my decisions that I have made this annuity was the only REAL boner - and
that said -- amopen to your suggestions as ivalue somuch of what Ihave read on this board --
Many thanks -in advance
