I have been reading this board for several weeks now as I consider my options. There have been many answers found - thanks! However, one still seems to be unanswered yet. What happens on the credit report of someone who has declared Ch. 7 - what happens to those accounts that had been paid and closed way in the past and therefore weren't a debt in the bankruptcy? Do they suddenly show up as part of the BK on the report? Or will they still show paid and closed?
