Thank you Peter, Ira and Bill for your prompt replies. Well that does it for me .... no MLP's in my TIRA or Roth.

Quick rant >>> Anyone in favor of a 10% FLAT TAX ? ... raise your hands!!! The only downside I can see is sending less tax work to all the good guys like Peter, Ira, Bill, Phil (who volunteers at VITA). At least all those bozo's in Congress won't have their special tax committees to muck things up to a level beyond comprehension by a citizen with average intelligence.
