This stock was recommended several months ago in the Richard Young investment newsletter.

I purchased shares over the last 8 months, and have found it a nice counterbalance to some of the tech duds that have been sitting in my investment woodshed. ARLP doesn't offer dividends per se; instead they pay out returns on your basis, which (as I understand it) reduce your ultimate basis at the time of your stock sale, but aren't taxed in the year received.
