So, I'm working on my Plan of Attack. Got my E-fund stashed at ING Direct. Have another $600 in savings at my home bank. I'm paying nice chunks via snowballing and I've cancelled the lame-ass CreditShield Waste-of-Money. My highest-rate card is at 17.9% wih MBNA. I'm reading the horror stories about trying to wrangle that rate down. What are my chances? I have a sparkling clean payment history and such, but it sounds like MBNA doesn't like to reduce rates no matter what!

I checked out Citi's site yesterday and I qualified for a 6.9% BT, so I transferred $1000 from my MBNA (as much as I could with my limits), but I also got an offer from AT&T for a 0% BT until paid off - I like the reg purchases rate is 11.9% but I'm not planning on using it for purchases.

Should I even waste time trying to get MBNA's rate down, or should I apply to the AT&T offer? I don't want to inundate my report with inquiries, but if there's a way to bring that rate down, I think I'm better for it!

Anyone have ANY luck with MBNA or should I cut my losses now and try to find a good BT?
