We've started planning for Dad's 100th birthday party next year at this time, and I'd like to make some of the desserts. I'd love to make the Triple Chocolate Mousse Torte https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/triple-chocola... that I've made for years, but I don't want to have to cut it into slices at the party. I was thinking that I could make individual ones if I used a ring mold or something similar.

Has anyone done anything like this? Where would I get the ring molds that don't cost a fortune? How hard would it be to get the small tortes out of the mold? The recipe calls for a springform pan, and so I am able to release the pan from the torte, but how would that work with ring molds?

Is there a better way to do this? Or is it impossible and I should look at something else? Anyone have any suggestions on desserts that I could make to bring? I was thinking I could make lots of cookies as those could be frozen and taken out the day of the party.

Any other suggestions?
