Are you suggesting they vote yes on every dem proposal? That's a recipe for failure.

I think the consensus of those who share the "give them what they want" view is that the Republicans should vote "Present".

Let the stuff pass, in other words, but with no Republican votes.

I add the embellishment that whenever they can manage it the House Republicans should pass a Republican version and send it to the Senate *first* (before the Senate approves the Democrats' version), and then not allow a vote on the Senate (Democrat) version until the Senate votes on the House bill.

Unfortunately, I don't expect either party to approve an actual conservative version of anything.
