As a 11 year old back in the 1960's my grandparents took me from Dallas, Texas to NYC, Buffalo, NY, & Detroit, Michigan to visit family on a Gray Hound Bus and then we took the train back to Los Angeles. I loved every minute of it, but as an adult a bus tour would no way replace a cruise.

A cruise is like traveling in our motorhome. You unpack once, you have the same bed, bathroom and I'm not good at living out of a suitcase. Besides, I have medical supplies that would pretty much take up the allotted mount of space allowed for a bus tour!
