Ask your brokerage about fees if your $ balance falls outside some limit.

Will there be montly fees if your cash balance falls below something?

Is there some total value all investments with them, above which they do not charge any fees?

What alternatives do they offer for the cash – money market, insured bank deposit, etc. and what are the rules for each?

My broker (Edward Jones) also offers FDIC insured CDs, and other things we normally expect from a bank or credit union, such as credit cards, loans.
