LtUhura turned me onto something on another board that I thought the PBSL board might be interested in.

Citicards (ATT universal, Citicard, etc) now participate in the Thank you Network. One of their rewards options is to have your points be applied towards your student loan. (5000 points=50 bucks) (They also have cash back rewards cards.)

The ATT Universal 5X Rewards card ( grants you 5 Thank you points for every dollar spent at supermarkets, gas stations, etc. Since this is where I already spend my money (via a different, paid off monthly card), I could easily rack up some points/money to throw at Sallie Mae. As is, I am going to use them for mileage so I can see the GF more frequently but in a few years, they will all get thrown at SM.

Just a heads up because it might be worth it.
