In reviewing your analysis, the numbers that you have for ANF don't match mine. Your analysis indicates its for the fourth quarter of 2000, which of course hasn't happened yet. So, I assume you meant the fourth quarter of 1999. In that quarter, ANF's sales were 367 million, gross income 191 million and net income of 76 million (information from page 29 of the 1999 annual report). Which gives gross and net margins of 52% and 21%. Perhaps you were using the first quarter (which I don't have in front of me right now), which tends to be a weaker quarter. If so, were you also using the first quarter for GPS and AEOS?

Disclosure - I own ANF which I bought a month or two ago.
