When it comes to furnishing your short term rental, you have to take into consideration your guest's desire by focusing directly on design and functionality. A well-furnished property will result in happy guests and happy guests will result in great reviews and even more guests in the future.

Doesn’t matter if your property is one of those amazing or if you are considering investing in of those for your short term rental business, what matters is what you do with space and how you manage it.

Here are some creative ways to furnish your short term rental:

You have to start by taking a good look at space and start thinking about how that space can be handled and used. Depending on how space flows and works, you’ll have to use some appropriate furniture for it.

The property should be bright so your guests feel that they can do all kinds of activities in it. Investing in floor and table lamps should be considered to fight those darks spots that the overhead lighting might leave around. You can also invest in dimmer switches so your guests can decide how bright they want the place to be.

You have to pick pieces of furniture that transmit peace and optimize the natural light of each room in the property. Choosing the right colour, its style and also the fabric can be determinant when furnishing. You should also keep the furniture as neutral as possible. Remember that this property isn’t for you so try keeping your taste aside and remember that this is for someone you don’t know so keeping things neutral is what you just need.

When you offer some extra services such as wifi, or Netflix or even a pool or balcony with a great view of the bayside, you’ll get a lot of points with your guests because you’ll have several ways to keep them entertained and comfortable while they are staying in your property.

Providing stuff like extra-towels or blow dryers in the bathrooms, cleaning tools, and extra bed clothing will demonstrate your guests that you care for them and their wellness and not only the money that comes with them.
