The more I read the more I see articles about veteran marketeers stepping in and buying companies now and not waiting for the mythical bottom.
I've been digging into a paper portfolio for the last FY and it is clear that, even in conditions of market volatility, there were still goods gains to be made providing - and this seems to be the key - p/e's were at a low level when first purchased.
There are a number of companies right now who have been trashed by the market and now have low p/e's which would indicate a buy.
I see this as a real buying opportunity in the coming months.
