Connie Willis is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. I loved "The Doomsday Book" and "to say Nothing of the Dog". I have now just begun reading "Bellwether". All three of these books are written with different styles, but I have enjoyed all of them .

The basic premise in "Bellwether" is that a sociologist who studies fads and a chaos theorist are brought together by a strange misdelivered package. I just began it last night. A subtext of this book is how it compares advances in science and how new theories are discovered and how they are accepted with how trends and fads come into being and proliferate. It does this in an easy to read style. I had a hard time getting to sleep last night because I wanted to keep reading.

Anyway, if anyone else would like to join me in reading "Bellwether" by Connie Willis, please do. Once I have finished the book, I will post a poll and maybe will start a discussion if anyone else is interested.
