From my experience finding out the appointment time ia a good idea.
At 38 wks pregnant with the VM I actually burst into tears when it was time to book my next prenatal appointment.
When asked what I was crying about I wailed "I don't wanna still be pregnant next week!!!!"
Various sympathetic folks calmed me down and I booked for 3pm the next week.
I drove the 15 mins home determined to get this baby to change residence as soon as possible.
1 week later, no luck on that score, the appointment loomed.
At 2:45p.m. just when I would have needed to leave for the appointment, my water broke.
7hrs 45 mins later, the VM changed residence from my uterus to the outside world.
