What do think are the biggest issues facing college football, if not college athletics as a whole? Here are my choices (in order of importance):

1) Academic Fraud

Nowadays, some schools don't even go through the motions of trying to educate a player.

2) Off the field behavior

The Colorado incident is just the latest in long line of incidents over the past 10 years. Unfortunately, it won't be the last.

3) Gambling

I have nothing against gambling, but I do have a problem with athletes at ANY level throwing a game for the benefit of a bookie.

4) Lack of a playoff for Division 1-A

It's not right that certain schools have NO chance at a national championship solely because they lack the pedigree of the Notre Dames and Oklahomas. My Nittany Lions had to deal with this in the 60s and 70s, and I hate to see Tulane and Marshall go through the same thing.

What do you guys think?
