There's double negatives, and then there's double negatives. One is a hyper-characterization that English (mostly) dropped and is stigmatized as "non-standard", but --for example-- French (and many other languages) use. The other is a logical construction and quite grammatical, though not often used. So I'm amused the grammar police got bent out of shape for confusing the two.

Thanks for the heads up on the music fest, but I'll pass. Not my thing.
