Today we bring Boards 17 to what we hope will be a satisfying conclusion for all. After listening carefully and caringly to all of your excellent feedback, we've worked tirelessly to assemble a package of new enhancements and bug fixes that are sure to please all. Combine this with the remarkable steps already taken in terms of design and function and I think we can all agree that Boards 17 may be the best boards release ever.

Henceforth and forever after, please start each board surfing day by paying some small homage to Foolish designers and techies in whatever way you feel appropriate.

Today's changes include:

- fixed bug where whole thread is not displaying when the root post has been deleted

- introducing style sheet switcher for serif and sans-serif fonts. Better than us telling you what you should have, you get to choose. Cool, huh? (Sorry, but we have no plans to introduce variations on these styles anytime soon.)

- increasing the visibility of the Prev and Next links through the use of brighter link colors and bolded text

- making the preview page and the message page consistent in their design

- adding the reply/rec line back to the bottom of regular viewing modes
(threaded/unthreaded) and conditionally serving it for longer posts in whole thread mode

- fixed pre-formatted text issues when using sans-serif style sheet. Please let us know if your browser is not displaying these posts correctly

- went back to different colored links when you click something versus when you haven't clicked (vlinks)

Thanks again to everyone for their passionate feedback and patience. We're proud to have been able to turn around some major fixes and new enhancelements for you in such a very, very short time.

Best always,
