I am a novice when it comes to bond investments. (OK, so I'm a novice when it comes to equity investments too...) I understand the fundamental concepts of bonds and other fixed income investments. But I was hoping someone could recommend a good book about the practical side of real-world bond trading.

I'm pretty sure that I already understand enough about bonds that something from the Idiot's or Dummies series would be too remedial. But I would be interesting learning more about how to value fixed income securities (though not really wanting to read a textbook) and how to find and trade bonds.

Has anyone read any good, intelligent introductions to fixed income investments.

Thanks for your help!
